The 2015 Piggott Range Syrah is full-bodied, rich and densely concentrated, yet it retains great freshness and drive. Hints of fresh herbs accent black olives and blackberries, picking up licorice notes on the long, supple finish. This vintage is a huge success at Clarendon Hills, approachable now yet capable of aging for a decade or more.

Like the 2013, the 2014 Piggott Range Syrah is a plush, fruit-driven wine. Full-bodied and concentrated, it's creamy-supple in texture, with a long finish that picks up hints of anise, pepper and cinnamon.

Ripe boysenberry fruit is the main thrust behind the 2013 Piggott Range Syrah. Full-bodied, plush and velvety, it's a departure from the tannic, savory style seen in so many other 2013s from Clarendon Hills. Drink it now and over the next 10-12 years.

Very deep purple-black colored, the 2009 Piggott Range Syrah is a little restrained on the nose at this stage, revealing aromas of blueberry preserves, blackberry tart and creme de cassis with suggestions of mocha and licorice. The palate is concentrated and tightly knit with a solid structure of firm, grainy tannins and lively acid, finishing long and peppery. Still very youthful, consider drinking this one 2014 to 2022+.
