Chateau Tour de Gendres has been in the Conti family since 1981. It occupies the site of an ancient Gallo-Roman villa, on clay-limestone soils that feature three special?ties: very limestone in Gendres, iron rich ("crasse de fer") in Grand Caillou, and loamy ("boulbene") in Saint-Julien. Luc de Conti is known as a real stickler for quality and his wines are there to prove it.
