The intriguing 2010 Bronzinelle Blanc (46% Marsanne, 20% Grenache Blanc, 10% Picpoul, 12% Roussanne and the rest Viognier and Terret) exhibits lots of quince, honeysuckle, grapefruit and pear notes along with good acidity, medium body and a distinctive richness and spiciness. It has enough personality to stand up to fragrant seafood dishes. I have followed the wines of this estate over many years and it is unquestionably one of the top producers in the Coteaux du Languedoc. I didn’t taste their Picpoul Pinet, which is often one of their more interesting whites.Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant Importer, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524; Fax (510) 528-7026.
