Aromas of sweet red fruits mingle with notions of warm spices, dried flowers and herbs, introducing the 2017 Aloxe-Corton Les Boutières, a medium-bodied, supple and satiny wine with melting tannins and a saline finish. It's an unusually charming, open-knit Aloxe.

The 2015 Aloxe Corton les Boutieres has a fragrant, floral bouquet with crushed violets infusing the ebullient dark cherry and cassis aromas. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry with slightly chalky tannin, moderate depth with impressive mineralité seeping through on the finish. Enjoy this over 5-6 years.

The 2014 Aloxe Corton les Boutières has a well defined and perfumed, quite floral bouquet with raspberry coulis and crushed strawberry aromas. The palate is sweet and rounded, plenty of sappy red cherry and strawberry fruit framed with fine tannin, and it displays quite a sensual finish that is very satisfying. This a well crafted Aloxe-Corton from David Croix.

The 2013 Aloxe-Corton les Boutières, which is aged entirely in used oak, has a perfumed, floral bouquet with violet and rose petals infusing the dark cherry and red plum fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a candied core of red berry fruit interlaced with orange zest and hints of vanilla. This is a very pretty Aloxe-Corton to drink over the next 5 to 7 years.
