I have reviewed this wine before, and after opening three bottles at that time, all oxidized, I decided to proceed with publishing the note, saying as much. Here, for the fourth time, and 18 months later, I opened another oxidized bottle of 2020 Il Liris Chardonnay. It is rich, dull, heavy and flabby—not at all what we have come to expect from this wine, historically. I was sad to note the condition of it in January 2022, and I repeat that emotion again today, in September 2023.
