Here's a floral and very fragrant white with soft lines and a sweet-smelling bouquet. The Cantina Produttori Bolzano 2021 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Kleinstein offers thick layers of glycerin-rich fruit with honey and candied apricot. It also carries a high 15% alcohol content. Some 12,000 bottles were made.

Not a banal wine by any measure, the 2012 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Kleinstein shows varietal pureness with white flower, dried sage, jasmine, citrus blossom and crushed mineral. The delivery is elegant and subdued, but not muted. In fact, this beautiful wine reaches an optimal level of aromatic intensity that pulls you in for more but does not turn you away. The length is impressive and the wine offers a creamy or slightly waxy consistency. It should be consumed in the next two years.
