The 2008 Arioso is a medium-bodied, crisp white redolent of peaches, tomato leaf and sage. The wine reveals good balance, even if the nose is a touch on the aggressive side. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2011. The 2007 Arioso (Sauvignon and Viognier) is one of the handful of intriguing whites from Tuscany’s coast. Varietal notes of mint, white peaches and minerals typical of Sauvignon dominate this medium-bodied wine’s flavor profile. A delicious, refreshing white, it is best enjoyed as an aperitif or along with the delicate fish and seafood dishes that are often found in this part of Tuscany.
