The 2005 Roble, a blend of 60% Monastrell, 20% Syrah, and 20% Tempranillo, spent 3 months in French and American oak. Not as vibrant as the unoaked Joven, it nevertheless has an an expressive perfume of fresh herbs, pepper, cedar, and blackberry. There is good fruit and ripe flavors but the finish is just a bit attenuated. Importer: Weygandt-Metzler, Unionville, PA; tel. (610) 486-0800
