The 2007 Torrederos Roble is 100% Tempranillo aged for 4 months in French and American oak. Medium crimson-colored, it delivers a nose of cedar, mineral, spice box, violets, and black cherry. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has plenty of spicy black fruit, good depth, enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years, and a medium-long finish. This excellent value will provide pleasant drinking over the next 5 years. Torrederos was founded in 2000 by 4 grape-growing families who previously sold their fruit to other wineries.
