The 2009 Tantum Ergo White Brut Nature is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir which was barrel-fermented and then raised sur lie for 22 months in stainless steel. Light gold in color, it is an elegant sparkling wine with layered flavors, small bubbles, excellent concentration, and a lengthy, refreshing finish. Drink this tasty effort over the next 1-2 years. The Bodegas Hispano Suizas project began in 1999 and consists of 55 hectares (121 acres) in Requena in the inland portion of the Valencia region.
