The 2004 Castillo de Jumilla Reserva is the same blend aged in French and American oak for 24 months and 18 months in bottle prior to release. Dark ruby red, it presents a slightly muted nose of spice box, plum incense, blueberry, and underbrush. Ripe, round, and savory, it too can be enjoyed over the next 6 years, Bodegas Bleda is a family-owned winery dating back to 1935 and was the first in the DO to market its wines in the bottle.
