The grapes for the 2010 El Perro Verde were sourced from higher elevation, older bush vines than is the custom for most Verdejo cuvees. Quite dry on the palate, it is a more serious style of Verdejo featuring more of its minerality than its floral, fruity character making it a more versatile food match.
