The 2008 Shiraz gives a deep garnet-purple color and is scented of macerated mulberries, spiced blueberries and kirsch with notes of aniseed and cardamom. Full and rich in the mouth, it has crisp acid, a medium-firm level of grainy tannins, plenty of fleshy, ripe berry fruit and a long finish. Delicious now, it should maintain its vibrancy to 2014.
