The 2007 Long Cow Sauvignon Blanc is blessed with an attractive nose of lime, cooking apple and hints of mango and dried peach, all with crisp definition. Clean and fresh on the entry, good acidity, quite spicy towards the finish with just a hint of ginger and passion fruit, this fine Sauvignon Blanc should be drunk over the next year. Auntsfield is one of New Zealand stalwart producers that can trace its roots back the 19th century and they presently farm vineyards in the Wairau Valley. They have an interesting portfolio full of character and occasionally, great quality. No known US importer.
