The 2007 Barbera d'Asti Albera opens with lovely scents of spiced red fruits in a medium-bodied yet generous style, with a long, polished finish. This medium-bodied Barbera should be drunk within the next year or two as early signs of development have begun to appear. Today the wine reveals lovely balance in a rewarding style.
