Coming from the Two Blondes vineyard, the 2020 Cuveé Lucia Semillon opens with a waxy and citrus blossom nose with delicate mineral essence. Medium-bodied, the wine offers a kiss of phenolic bitterness before showing a delightful mineral tension and a soft ashy essence on the palate. The wine ends with a kiss of herbaceous character over the mineral-laced finish. Only 105 cases were produced.

The nose of the 2018 Cuveé Lucia Semillon offers a citrus-driven expression that is tied to a mineral core. This is a food-friendly wine with a tight and focused palate with sensations of bright, floral-citrus blossom essence and slight underripe pineapple slices tossed in lemon zest. It ends with a lively, acid-driven finish with a pleasing expression of lemons covered with a subtle powdery minerality. This bottling makes me crave food to enjoy with the wine. Only 28 cases made.
