There are little vintage variations in the Alamos range, and the 2022 Torrontés offers varietal aromas and flavors of jasmine and orange blossom and a faint bitter twist on the long, dry and clean finish.

The pungent and varietal 2021 Torrontés is expressive and aromatic, with citrus, orange blossom and spices. It has a dry palate and is fresh and clean, varietal and easy to drink.

The textbook varietal 2020 Torrontés was produced with fruit from Salta and displays notes of jasmine and citrus. It's pale and aromatic, very attractive, with good ripeness and an absence of bitterness in the finish but remaining dry. It finishes with a note of fresh Muscat pulp and a dry sensation that I like.

The citrus 2019 Torrontés is expressive and very aromatic with a combination of orange blossom and spices. It has a serious, dry palate, with pungent flavors, very nice balance and a serious finish that is long and dry, with just a faint bitter twist. This is light-years ahead of the super ripe and sweet versions of the grape that many produced in the past and were difficult to drink. This has high drinkability and should do well with a good range of foods. 280,000 bottles produced.

The 2017 Torrontés is now produced 100% with grapes from their own vineyard in Tolombón, with a spicy and floral but restrained nose and very good freshness. It's bottled young, fresh and unoaked to keep the primary aromas. The flavors are nicely defined, and it's long and has a dry, somehow salty finish without any bitterness. Super tasty. 350,000 bottles produced.
