It is hard to find more flavor and punch for your money than what is offered by this opaque purple-colored, richly fruity, spicy, peppery, cassis-scented and flavored wine. It is dense, powerful, and shockingly concentrated (particularly for a wine priced under $10), with low acidity, great fruit, and 4-5 years of fun drinking ahead. Made from 100% Syrah, with 50% whole berry fermentation to achieve this level of fruitiness, this is a mouthfilling, savory wine. An exceptional bargain.
