The 2007 Patchwork Shiraz was raised in a mix of new and seasoned French and American oak. It is dark ruby-colored with a nose of pepper, violets, smoked meat, blueberry, and black cherry. On the palate it exhibits some complexity, savory flavors, and some elegance. It over-delivers for its modest price. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
