The 2008 Morgeot feels just a little smudged on the nose, perhaps illuminated more by the precision of the 2006 Bienvenue tasted alongside. It does actually ameliorate in the glass to reveal light resin, jasmine and lanolin scents. There is a twist of orange peel lacing the entry on the palate, commendable acidity with some fatness coming through on the finish, although, as often is the case with Morgeot, it is missing a little finesse. Drink now-2020+.
