The 2013 Syrah Monteagrelo is produced from vines planted in Agrelo. It matured in oak barrels for 15 months before bottling. It's a ripe and spicy red with plenty of vanilla and cinnamon aromas and a touch of smoke, a little oaky. It's a juicy, round and soft version of the Rh?ne grape that fills the palate with lush fruit. It is accessible and drinkable. With time, it develops meaty and varietal characteristics.
