The 2016 Pago de Carraovejas has plenty of creamy and lactic notes, ripe fruit and a soft mouthfeel with ripe flavors of dark berries and the hedonist and voluptuous texture of the modern Ribera del Duero. This was produced with 90% Tempranillo, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Merlot and has 15% alcohol. It matured in French and American oak barrels for around 12 months. They produced 800,000 bottles of it.
