Grown on limestone, the 2013 Pinot Gris Rosenberg is a very gastronomic wine, or what Maurice Barthelmé calls, "a white wine for red wine lovers.“ The wine opens clear and bright on the nose, displaying champignon flavors. Very elegant and mineral on the well balanced palate, with fine tannins and a piquant acidity balancing the 16 grams of unfermented sugar, this is a very delicate and light-footed Pinot Gris that seems to imitate the dance of a Mosel Riesling.
