The 2006 MERLOT TERRA from 100% Ella Valley grapes taken from a vineyard 700 meters above sea level was aged for one year in French oak. Charming, well balanced, sunny and elegant, it is a clean, easy drinking Merlot with enough brightness to seem lively, not flat and flabby. There is not a lot of mid-palate depth and concentration, or much intensity, but it is easy to appreciate, juicy and flavorful. Some green notes pop out with air. There were 20,000 bottles produced.
