The 2006 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills Select is sourced from multiple vineyards and exhibits an enticing bouquet of rose petal, red cherry, and tobacco leading to a ripe, sweetly fruited elegant, and intense wine with superb depth and a lengthy, pure finish. It will evolve for 2-3 years and be at its best from 2011 to 2018.Torii Mor Winery was founded in 1993 by Dr. Donald and Margie Olson who continue to actively operate the winery. Solid and anchored in darker flavors of earth, leaf and tannin, this well-made Pinot Noir shows black cherry fruit at its core. The best part is the nose, promising some development in bottle. Aromas are elusive and elegant, but in the mouth it turns a bit tannic and rough.——P.G.(11/15/2008)—— 88
