The 2008 The Adversary (Mourvedre) is another wine with somewhat mixed results. It possesses excellent depth in its fruit, but the tannins are hard and the alcohol seems to blur much of the varietal nuance. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016. This is an interesting set of wines from Sans Liege and proprietor Curt Schalchlin.
