Wagner's 2020 Weissburgunder Gutswein is clear, pure and fresh on the elegant and finely reductive nose that reveals ripe, white seed fruit aromas intertwined with beautifully pure and stony notes. Vibrantly fresh on the palate, this is a light to medium-bodied, linear, finely structured and stimulatingly grippy yet elegant Pinot Blanc for many opportunities. It has good fruit intensity. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in January 2022.
