Domaine Drouhin, or DDO as it's known in Oregon, produced 400 cases of 1996 Chardonnay. This anise, mineral, and butterscotch-scented wine has a silky texture, is well-balanced, and offers dried honey flavors. It is medium-bodied, fresh, and dry, yet finishes hollow. Drink it over the next 2 years.Tel. (503) 864-2700.
