The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, a big, full-bodied wine, presents dark cherries, plums, mint and cloves to match a somewhat rustic personality. I don’t see bottle age making a meaningful difference here. This is a solid, well-made Brunello, even if some rough edges remain. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022.
