A blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot, the 2017 Old Vines comes from the Klipsun and Red Willow vineyards. Opening with aromas of dark cherry, plump blackberry and ripe plum skin, the wine offers elements of currant and cassis with elegant baking spices layered through. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is dusty with ripe tannins and a firm frame that continues to evolve and unpack across the mid-palate. The wine delivers a long, sturdy, juicy and satisfying finish.
