A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Shiraz, 2010 -The Schnell- Grenache Shiraz offers a deep garnet-purple color and is profoundly scented of black currant and black plums with an undercurrent of tar, earth, black pepper and cumin seed. Medium to full bodied with a medium level of grainy tannins, it has good concentration in the mouth, lively acid and a long finish. Drinking now, it should keep to 2015+.
