Rivetti’s 2006 Barbaresco Bricco di Neive is a surprisingly fresh, vinous wine in this vintage, with tons of juicy, ripe fruit. The wine reveals good length on the palate and excellent overall balance. I admit I am a bit puzzled by the style here, as this wine stands apart from every other Barbaresco I tasted for its intense fruitiness.
