The outstanding 1994 Puligny-Montrachet Les Champs-Canet offers up a ripe nose of white peaches, creamy lemon meringue pie, and honey. The wine is beautifully knit, with medium body, a sense of lightness, yet intense flavors and a long, dry finish. It is best drunk over the next 4-5 years. The three offerings reviewed in this segment are only a small sample of the range of wines made by Louis Carillon and his sons.
