The 2007 Gruner Veltliner Hochterrassen is loaded with ripe, iris- herb-tinged melon; refreshing yet with a surprisingly glossy, rich mouth feel; and finishes with a stimulating hint of salinity. It might not be as typical of its variety as in certain vintages, but will make for lovely refreshment for the next couple of years.
