The 2006 Exhibit B White Label is a high octane (15.1% alcohol) blend of 40% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot. It offers attractive aromas of raspberries, spice box, earth and wood, but the idea of aging a Bordeaux blend for 52 months does not work nearly as well as it did in Agharta’s Syrah program. This is certainly a good wine, but it seems somewhat disjointed, in short, lacking equilibrium. Judgment reserved. Mahle’s two efforts with Bordeaux varietals were far less impressive. In fact, they are somewhat disappointing given the talent of the winemaker.Tel:. (707) 887-9100
