The 2009 Cotes du Coast emerges from the glass with layers of tangerine, apricots, peaches and flowers, all of which come together nicely in this beautiful, textured white. Hints of almond paste add complexity on the finish. Cotes du Coast is 43% Viognier, 39% Roussanne and 18% Marsanne. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013. This is an interesting set of wines from Sans Liege and proprietor Curt Schalchlin. The wines are full of personality and potential but the high alcohol is noticeable in a number of these selections.Tel. (805) 305-8564; www.sansliege.com
