The 2007 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Boudriotte is drinking beautifully, wafting from the glass with a fragrant bouquet of dried flowers, Griotte cherry, strawberry and earthy bass notes. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied and silky, with a sappy core of fruit, melting tannins and juicy acids. This lovely red Chassagne boasts all the merits of the vintage with none of its disadvantages.
