The 2011 Santigaini (100% Vermentino aged in oak for 12 months) is Capichera's flagship wine. The wine shows special attention to detail especially in terms of low yields and fruit selection. Only 3,000 bottles are made and Santigaini is beautifully redolent of stone fruit, candied orange, almond marzipan, dried herb and honey. It also shows surprising richness in terms of texture.
