Aged in new and one year French barriques for eight months, the 2007 Botrytis Semillon reveals a pale to medium straw-gold color. The nose is quite pure with just a little of the honeyed / muskiness that is associated with botrytis but with pronounced late harvest notes – lemon curd, lanolin and apple tart aromas with hints of crushed stones and hay. Very sweet with medium to high acid and a very pleasant silken texture. Long finish. Drink now to 2016. The Tulloch family is well known in the Hunter. As a fourth generation winemaker, Keith Tulloch set out on his own in 1997 to focus purely on traditional Hunter varietals.Importer: The Wine Angel; www.Wine-Angel.com
