Good as the 2000 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva Bossona - from one of the appellation’s outstanding vineyards - is, it does not beat the regular bottling of the 2001 vintage. But that is certainly no reason not to fully enjoy the warmly alcoholic, sweet, and penetrating nose, the firm texture, and the swelling volume of the wine, which will surely provide another decade of fine drinking.
