Quite flavorful, if a bit varietally vague. Cherry, allspice, leather, cranberry and tea aromas read almost like a Pinot Noir. Elegant, maybe a bit lean, but with very good balance. Cherry, herb and spice flavors. Spicy, sweet and sour finish.——W.E.(3/1/2000)—— 86
