The 2019 Single Site Cabernet Sauvignon is detailed and aromatic, perfumed and precise, in accordance with the 2019 vintage. On the whole, it produced lovely wines in the region; it was a cooler season than the hot 2020 that followed it, and with more rainfall. Here, this 2019 is bottled in glass that is different from the other Single Site Cabernets—shorter—it would have been bottled sometime in 2020, so one wonders whether this was a glass casualty of the COVID-19 shipping/supply chain delays felt worldwide. Regardless, the wine is delicate and refined and speaks of spiced cassis, blackberry, plum, cocoa, dark chocolate and clove. Very pretty. Languid. 14% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
