The 2011 Sauvignon Blanc has a lively, racy bouquet with fresh green apple, crisp lime and just a dash of peach. The palate is well balanced with a slight grassiness on the entry. This is very well balanced with a lovely, intense nettle and gooseberry finish. Excellent. Alluring, with lightly toasted brioche and wet straw notes framing a core of muddled lemon, white peach and chamomile. The long, mineral- and gooseberry-filled finish echoes nicely.
