The 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc reveals an interesting bouquet of spring flowers, citrus blossoms and a subtle touch of honeysuckle. It is a nicely textured, medium-bodied, pure, lively white to enjoy over the next 1-2 years.
Apparently, only one cuvee of 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape has been produced by brothers Baptiste and Dominique Grangeon from their 32 acres of vines in the northeastern sector of the appellation. The 2010s have closed down, and I have tended to judge them slightly more conservatively than I did prior to bottling.
