The outstanding 2002 Caravina (1600 cases) reveals sweet tannin along with big, full-throttle, dense, black currant, loamy soil, chocolate, and vanilla flavors. Full-bodied, rich, and impressive, this is no ordinary second wine. Drink it over the next 10-14 years. P.S. A bottle of the 1991 Cabernet Sauvignon, tasted in late 2004, was an extraordinary monument to Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. This vintage has always been brilliant, but it is adding even more complexity to its wealth of fruit and concentration. Still in adolescence at age 13, wow, what a wine! Tel.
