The 1999 Shiraz/Grenache/Mourvedre (43% Shiraz, 34% Grenache, and 23% Mourvedre) is a strong effort from this vintage. The wine shows a dense ruby/purple color, notes of violets, black fruits, licorice, and a powerful leathery and floral note.
