The 2015 Ariana has increased the amount of Syrah to 40% since the last vintage I tasted, 2011. The rest is Listán Negro. The two grapes fermented separately in stainless steel and were blended before malolactic and six months aging in 500-liter oak casks. The Syrah seems to dominate the aromas and even the texture, coupled with the creamy, oaky notes. 26,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2016.
