The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin La Brunelle, which hails from a small vineyard behind the domaine which typically produces around three barrels of wine, offers up a lovely nose of raspberry, cherry, wood smoke and rose petal, framed by creamy new oak. On the palate, the wine is elegant, expansive and fine-grained, with a juicy core of fruit and a stony, mineral finish. This is the most delicate and elegant of Roty's lieux-dits bottlings.
