One of the finest roses for summertime drinking is Bodegas Nekeas’ 2004 Vega Sindoa Rose, a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. A surprisingly dark-colored, dry effort, it possesses medium body, oodles of strawberry and cherry fruit that explode from the glass, and a heady finish.
