I tasted through hundreds of Australian wines for under $10, and to be candid, most of them were heavy, often flawed, and/or totally uninteresting wines with little character. That is hardly the case with these tasty, plump, tropical fruit-scented, full-bodied Chardonnays from Oxford Landing. Both vintages offer plenty of flavor purity, as well as a sense of elegance and balance. Drink them over the next year.
